Sylvia Owens
Sylvia Owen entertained us with her second visit to demonstrate for our chapter using fall flowers and materials.
Sylvia was a founding member of the San Francisco Chapter and founded the Fresno Chapter.. She is a master of the Koryu Shogetsukai School and has been teaching for many years. She is very active in giving lectures and demonstrations at the Fresno Art Museum, the Clark Japanese Center in Hanford and has supported Gala Fundraisers in 2005 and 2006 with many floral centerpieces.
She has a beautiful Japanese garden and hosted the Women's Symphony league for members of the Council of 100 of the Fresno Art Museum in April 2009.
We are so pleased to welcome her to Monterey again.
