Anniversary Luncheon
Monterey Peninsula Country Club Beach House
We celebrated our anniversary with a luncheon at the Monterey Penisula Country Club Beach House. Diane Wolcott, a local artist, presented a program showing her beautiful paintings and gave a framed print for a raffle fundraiser.

Our chapter presented a workshop at the local All Saints School as part of their Japanese cultural program. June Matsuoka and Kozue Knowles and Carol Marchette presented the program for 48 children ( in two groups) from the second and seventh grades. The children worked together, as a team, one from the 7th grade and one from the 2nd grade as big brothers or sisters. We used spray painted bottles as vases and used roses and various kinds of greenery. Each child took his arrangement home.

Dr. Ricardo Carrasco, Banmi Shofu Ryu School Headmaster and president of Florida Orlando Winter Park Chapter 132 visiting Monterey Bay in February. Carol Marchette welcomed him and Greg with a tour of the Peninsula. The weather was beautiful with a spectacular sea. |
